[현대인성경 KLB 구약 레위기21장] 제사장이 지켜야 할 규정 : Rules that the priest must abide by

1 “여호와께서 모세를 통하여 아론의 자손 제사장들에게 이렇게 말씀하셨 다. “너희는 죽은 자를 만짐으로 자신을 더럽히지 말아라.”(This is what the LORD said through Moses to the priests, the sons of Aaron: “You shall not defile yourselves by touching the dead)
‭‭2-3 “그러나 부모와 자녀와 형제와 그리고 시집가지 않은 누이가 죽었을 경우에는 그 시체를 만질 수 있다.”
‭‭(However, in the case of the death of parents, children, brothers, and unmarried sisters, they may be touched)
4 “제사장은 백성의 지도자이므로 보통 사람과 같이 함부로 시체를 만져 자신을 더럽혀서는 안 된다.”(Since the priest is the leader of the people, he must not contaminate himself by carelessly touching a dead body, as is the case with ordinary people)
‭‭5 “제사장은 애도의 뜻으로 머리를 대머리처럼 밀거나 수염 양쪽 끝을 깎거나 살을 베어서는 안 된다.”(A priest must not shave his head bald, shave the ends of his beard, or cut his flesh in mourning)
‭‭6 “너희는 나 하나님에게 거룩하고 내 이름을 더럽히거나 욕되게 하지 말아라. 너희는 나 여호와에게 제물을 바치는 제사장이므로 거룩해야 한다.”(You are holy to me and do not dishonor or dishonor my name. You must be holy because you are priests offering sacrifices to the Lord)
‭‭7 “너희는 창녀나 순결을 잃은 여자나 이혼한 여자와 결혼하지 말아라. 너희는 나 여호와의 거룩한 제사장이다.”(You shall not marry a prostitute or a woman who has lost her virginity or who is divorced. You are the holy priests of the Lord)
‭8 여호와께서 또 모세에게 말씀하셨다. “너는 제사장을 거룩하게 하라. 그는 나 여호와에게 제물을 드리는 자이다. 너는 그를 거룩하게 여겨야 한다. 이것은 너희를 거룩하게 하는 나 여호와가 거룩하기 때문이다.”(The Lord also spoke to Moses. “You sanctify the priest. He is the one who offers sacrifices to the Lord. You should consider him holy. This is because I, the LORD, who make you holy, am holy)
‭‭9 “만일 제사장의 딸이 매춘 행위를 하여 자기 아버지를 욕되게 하였으면 그녀를 반드시 불로 태워 죽여라.”(If a priest's daughter dishonors her father by committing prostitution, she must be burned to death)
‭‭10 “특별히 기름 부음을 받고 위임되어 예복을 입은 대제사장은 상중이라도 머리를 풀거나 옷을 찢어서는 안 되며”(The high priest, specially anointed and entrusted with the robes, must not untie his hair or tear his clothes, even during mourning)
‭‭11 “그 어떤 시체에도 가까이해서는 안 된다. 이것은 자기 부모가 죽었을 경우에도 마찬가지이다.”(Do not come close to any corpses. This is the case even when one's parents are dead)
‭‭12 “또 대제사장은 직무중에 성소를 떠나거나 성소를 더럽혀서도 안 된다. 그는 내가 기름을 붓고 거룩하게 구별하여 세운 대제사장이기 때문이다. 나는 여호와이다.”(Also, the high priest must not leave the sanctuary or defile it while on duty. For he is the high priest whom I have anointed and consecrated. I am Jehovah)
‭‭13 “그리고 대제사장은 반드시 처녀와 결혼해야 한다.”(And the high priest must marry a virgin)
‭‭14 “그는 과부나 이혼한 여자나 창녀를 아내로 삼아서는 안 되며 반드시 자기 지파 중의 처녀와 결혼해야 한다.”(He must not take a widow or a divorced woman or a harlot as his wife, but must marry a virgin from his own tribe)
‭‭15 “그렇지 않으면 그의 자녀들이 백성들 가운데서 더럽혀질 것이다. 나는 그를 제사장으로 거룩히 구별하여 세운 여호와이다.”(Otherwise, his children will be defiled among the people. I am the LORD who has consecrated him as a priest)
‭‭16-17 “또 여호와께서는 모세를 통하여 아론 에게 말씀하셨다. “너희 자손 가운데 대대로 신체적 결함이 있는 자는 누구든지 나에게 제물을 드릴 수 없다.”(Also, the Lord spoke to Aaron through Moses. “None of your offspring who has a physical defect from generation to generation may offer sacrifices to me)
‭‭18 “그들은 소경, 절뚝발이, 코가 비뚤어진 자, 손가락과 발가락이 더 붙은 자,”(They are the blind, the lame, the crooked nose, and the affixed fingers and toes)
‭‭19 “손발이 부러진 자,”(broken limbs)
‭‭20 “꼽추, 난쟁이, 눈에 결함이 있는 자, 각종 피부병이 있는 자, 그리고 고자이다.”(Hunchbacks, dwarfs, those with eye defects, those with various skin diseases, and eunuchs)
‭‭21 “제사장 아론의 자손 중에 이와 같은 신체적 결함이 있는 자는 나에게 나아와서 제물을 드리지 못한다.”(No son of Aaron the priest who has a physical defect like this may come to me to offer an offering)
‭‭22 “이런 자는 제사장이 먹는 거룩한 음식은 먹을 수 있으나”(Such a person may eat the holy food that the priest eats)
‭‭23 “그에게는 신체적 결함이 있으므로 성소의 휘장이나 번제단에 가까이 가서는 안 된다. 그가 내 성소를 더럽힐 수 없는 것은 그 성소를 거룩하게 하는 자가 바로 나 여호와이기 때문이다.”(Because of his physical defect, he must not go near the tabernacle of the sanctuary or the altar of burnt offering. He cannot defile my sanctuary because I, the LORD, sanctify it)
‭‭24 “이것은 모세가 여호와께 받은 명령을 아론과 그의 아들들과 모든 이스라엘 백성에게 전한 것이다.”(This is what Moses told Aaron and his sons and all the Israelites about the commands Moses had received from the Lord)
