1 “복 있는 사람은 악한 자들의 말을 듣지 않고 죄인들을 본받지 않으며 하나님을 조롱하는 자들과 어울리지 않고”Blessed is the man who does not listen to evildoers, does not imitate sinners, and does not associate with those who mock God
‭‭2 “여호와의 율법을 즐거워하며 그 율법을 밤낮 묵상하는 자이다.”He delights in the law of the Lord, and meditates on it day and night
‭‭3 “그는 시냇가에 심은 나무가 철을 따라 과실을 맺고 그 잎이 마르지 않는 것처럼 하는 일마다 다 잘 될 것이다.”He will prosper in everything he does, just as a tree planted by streams of water produces fruit in its season and its leaves do not wither
‭‭4 “그러나 악인들은 그렇지 않으니 그들은 바람에 나는 겨와 같을 뿐이다.”But the wicked are not like that; they are like chaff carried by the wind
‭‭5 “그러므로 악인들이 심판 날에 무사하지 못하고 죄인들이 의로운 자들 가운데 서지 못할 것이다.”Therefore the wicked will not be safe on the day of judgment, and sinners will not stand among the righteous
‭‭6 “의로운 사람의 길은 여호와께서 지키시나 악인의 길은 파멸에 이를 것이다.”The Lord will guard the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked will lead to destruction
