1 너희는 여호와를 의지하는 나에게 어떻게 이런 말을 할 수 있느냐? "너는 새처럼 산으로 도망하라 How can you say these things to me, who trusts in the Lord? “Flee to the mountains like a bird

2 악인들이 활을 당겨 으슥한 곳에서 선한 사람들을 쏠고 한다 Wicked people draw their bows and shoot good people from secret places

3 법과 질서가 무너지면 선한 사람인들 별수 있나?" If law and order collapse, what can good people do?

4 여호와께서는 거룩한 성전에 계시고 하늘의 보좌에서 다스리시며 인간을 지켜 보시고 일일이 살피신다 Jehovah is in his holy temple, reigning from his throne in heaven, watching over humanity and examining each one

5 여호와는 의로운 사람을 살피시고 악인과 폭력을 좋아하는 자들을 미워하신다 Jehovah watches over the righteous and hates the wicked and those who delight in violence

6 그는 악인들에게 불과 유황을 내려 타는 바람으로 벌하실 것이다 He will punish the wicked with a burning wind of fire and brimstone

7 여호와는 의로우셔서 의로운 일을 좋아하시니 정직한 자가 그의 얼굴을 보리라 The LORD is righteous and delights in righteousness; the upright will see his face
