1 “너희는 여호와께 감사하고 그의 이름을 선포하며 그가 행하신 일을 온 세상에 알게 하라.”Give thanks to the LORD, proclaim his name, and make known to all the world his works
‭‭2 “그에게 노래하고 그를 찬양하며 그의 신기한 일을 말하라.”Sing to him, praise him, tell of his wonders
‭‭3 “그의 거룩한 이름을 자랑하라. 여호와를 찾는 자에게는 즐거움이 있으리라.”Boast in his holy name. Those who seek the Lord will find joy
‭‭4 “너희는 여호와를 찾고 그의 능력을 구하며 항상 그를 바라보아라.”Seek the LORD, seek his strength, and keep your eyes on him
‭‭5 “여호와의 종 아브라함의 후손들아,”O descendants of Abraham, the servant of the Lord,
‭‭6 “하나님이 택하신 이스라엘 자손들아, 너희는 그가 행하신 놀랍고 신기한 일과 그가 내린 심판을 기억하라.”O children of Israel, chosen by God, remember the wonderful and miraculous works he has done and the judgments he has given
‭‭7 “그는 여호와 우리 하나님이시다. 그가 온 세상을 심판하신다.”He is the Lord our God. He judges the whole world
‭‭8 “그는 영원한 자기 계약, 곧 천 대에까지 약속하신 그의 말씀을 기억하셨으니”He remembered his eternal covenant, his word, which he had promised to a thousand generations
‭‭9 “이것은 그가 아브라함과 맺은 계약이며 이삭에게 하신 맹세요”This is his covenant with Abraham and his oath to Isaac
‭‭10 “야곱에게 하신 약속이며 이스라엘과 맺은 영원한 계약이다.”It is a promise made to Jacob and an everlasting covenant with Israel
‭‭11 “이것이 바로 “내가 가나안 땅을 너에게 주어 네 소유가 되게 하겠다” 고 하신 말씀이다.”This is what He said: “I will give you the land of Canaan to possess it.”
‭‭12 “이스라엘 백성의 수가 매우 적고 가나안 땅에서 그들이 나그네가 되어”The number of the Israelites was very small and they were strangers in the land of Canaan
‭‭13 “이 민족 저 민족, 이 나라 저 나라로 방황할 때에도”Even when I wander from one nation to another, from one country to another,
‭‭14 “하나님은 아무도 그들을 괴롭히지 못하게 하시고 그들을 위해 모든 왕들에게 경고하셨다.”God did not allow anyone to harass them and warned all the kings for them
‭‭15 ““나의 택한 종들에게 손대지 말고 나의 예언자들을 해하지 말라.””Touch not my chosen servants, do not harm my prophets
‭‭16 “그가 그 땅에 기근을 보내 양식이 다 떨어지게 하셨으나”He sent a famine in the land until all their food was gone
‭‭17 “한 사람을 앞서 보내셨으니 종으로 팔린 요셉이었다.”He sent a man ahead of him, Joseph, who had been sold into slavery
‭‭18 “족쇄에 그 발이 상하고 그 몸이 쇠사슬에 묶였으니”His feet were bruised with fetters, his body bound with chains
‭‭19 “여호와의 말씀이 이루어질 때까지라. 그 말씀이 그가 진실함을 입증하였다.”Until the word of the LORD comes true. His words proved him to be true
‭‭20 “왕이 사람을 보내 그를 석방하였으니 여러 민족을 통치하는 자가 그를 자유롭게 하였다.”The king sent and set him free; the ruler of the nations set him free
‭‭21 “그가 나라 살림을 그에게 맡겨 그의 모든 소유를 관리하게 하고”He entrusted him with the affairs of the country and let him manage all his possessions
‭‭22 “왕의 신하들을 마음대로 다스리게 하며 그의 고문관들을 교훈하게 하였다.”He ruled the king's subjects as he pleased and instructed his advisors
‭‭23 “그때 야곱이 이집트로 들어가 함의 땅에서 살게 되었다.”At that time, Jacob went into Egypt and lived in the land of Ham
‭‭24 “여호와께서 자기 백성을 크게 번성하게 하셔서 그들의 대적보다 더 강하게 하시고”The Lord multiplied his people greatly and made them stronger than their enemies
‭‭25 “이집트 사람들의 마음을 돌이켜 자기 백성을 미워하게 하고 자기 종들을 교활하게 다루도록 하셨다.”He turned the hearts of the Egyptians to hate his people and dealt cunningly with his servants
‭‭26 “그가 자기 종 모세와 자기가 택한 아론을 보내시자”He sent Moses his servant and Aaron whom he had chosen
‭‭27 “그들이 자기 백성들에게 여호와의 표적을 보이고 함 땅에 기적을 행하였다.”They showed signs of the Lord to their people and performed miracles in the land of Ham
‭‭28 “여호와께서 흑암을 보내 그 땅을 어둡게 하셨으나 이집트 사람들은 그의 명령에 순종하지 않았다.”The Lord sent darkness and darkened the land, but the Egyptians did not obey his commands
‭‭29 “그가 강물을 피가 되게 하시고 물고기를 죽이셨다.”He turned the rivers into blood and killed the fish
‭‭30 “그 땅이 개구리로 뒤덮여 왕의 침실에도 뛰어들었다.”The ground was covered with frogs, which even jumped into the king's bedroom
‭‭31 “여호와께서 말씀하시니 파리떼가 나오고 온 땅에 이가 생겼다”The LORD spoke, and flies came out, and lice appeared throughout the land
‭‭32 “그가 저희 땅에 비 대신 우박과 번개를 보내시고”Instead of rain, he sends hail and lightning on their land
‭‭33 “포도나무와 무화과나무를 치시며 그 땅의 나무들을 꺾으셨다.”He struck the vines and fig trees and cut down the trees of the land
‭‭34 “여호와께서 말씀하시자 수많은 메뚜기떼가 날아와서”When the LORD spoke, numerous swarms of locusts flew
‭‭35 “그 땅의 모든 채소와 농작물을 먹어 버렸다.”They ate all the vegetables and crops in the land
36 “여호와께서 이집트 가정의 모든 장남을 죽이시고”The LORD killed all the firstborn sons of Egyptian families
‭‭37 “자기 백성을 인도하여 은과 금을 가지고 나오게 하셨으니 그들 가운데 병든 자나 약한 자들이 없었다.”He brought out his people with silver and gold; there was no sick or weak person among them
‭‭38 “그들이 떠날 때 이집트 사람들이 기뻐하였으니 그들이 이스라엘 사람들을 두려워하였기 때문이었다.”When they left, the Egyptians rejoiced, because they were afraid of the Israelites
‭‭39 “여호와께서 구름을 펴셔서 따가운 햇볕을 막는 덮개가 되게 하시고 밤에는 불 기둥으로 그들의 갈 길을 밝혀 주셨으며”The LORD spread the clouds as a cover from the scorching sun, and at night he created a pillar of fire to light their way
‭‭40 “그들이 요구하므로 메추라기를 보내 주시고 하늘의 양식으로 그들을 만족하게 하셨다.”Because they asked for it, he sent them quails and satisfied them with heavenly food
‭‭41 “그가 바위를 가르시자 물이 솟구쳐나와 메마른 땅에 강처럼 흘렀으니”He split the rock, and water came out and flowed like a river in the dry land
‭‭42 “그의 종 아브라함에게 하신 그의 거룩한 약속을 기억하셨음이라.”He remembered His holy promise to Abraham His servant
‭‭43 “그가 택한 자기 백성을 이끌어내셨으므로 그들이 기뻐서 노래하며 외쳤다.”He brought out his chosen people, and they sang and shouted for joy
‭‭44 “그가 이방 나라들의 땅을 그들에게 주시고 다른 민족이 애써 지은 농작물을 그들에게 주셨으니”He gave them the lands of the nations and gave them crops that other peoples had worked hard to raise
‭‭45 “자기 백성이 그의 법을 지키고 그의 명령에 순종하도록 하기 위해서였다. 여호와를 찬양하라!”It was to ensure that his people kept his laws and obeyed his commands. Praise Jehovah!
