[현대인성경 KLB 구약 예레미야 47장] 블레셋에 대한 심판 Judgment on the Philistines

1 “이집트군이 가사를 공격하기 전에 여호와께서 나에게 블레셋 사람들에 관해서”Before the Egyptians attacked Gaza, the Lord spoke to me about the Philistines
‭‭2 “다음과 같은 말씀을 주셨다. “보라, 북쪽에서 물이 일어나 홍수처럼 밀어닥쳐 블레셋 땅과 그 가운데 있는 모든 것과 그 성들과 거기에 사는 자들을 모조리 휩쓸어 버릴 것이다. 그때 사람들이 부르짖을 것이며 그 땅의 모든 주민들이 통곡할 것이다.”He said, “Look! Waters will come up from the north and rush forward like a flood, sweeping away the land of the Philistines and all that is in it, its cities and all who live in them. Then people will cry, and all the inhabitants of the land will wail
‭‭3 “달리는 말발굽 소리와 적 전차의 요란한 소리와 전차 바퀴의 덜거덩거리는 소리에 아버지가 손에 맥이 풀려 자식을 돌보지 못할 것이다.”The sound of running horses' hooves, the noise of enemy chariots, and the rattling of chariot wheels will make the father's hands weak and unable to care for his children
‭‭4 “블레셋 사람들을 모조리 죽이고 두로와 시돈을 도와줄 모든 생존자들까지 파멸시킬 날이 왔다. 나 여호와가 크레테섬 출신의 남아 있는 모든 블레셋 사람들을 아주 없애 버리겠다.”The day has come when I will destroy all the Philistines and destroy all the survivors who will help Tyre and Sidon. I, the LORD, will completely destroy all the Philistines who remain from Crete
‭‭5 “가사가 대머리가 되었고 아스글론이 멸망을 당했다. 남아 있는 아낙의 후손들아, 너희가 언제까지 너희 살을 베며 슬퍼하겠느냐?”Gaza has become bald, and Ashkelon has been destroyed. You descendants of Anak who remain, how long will you cut yourselves and mourn?
‭‭6 “너희는 ‘여호와의 칼아, 네가 언제까지 쉬지 않겠느냐? 네 집에 들어가서 가만히 쉬어라’ 하고 말한다.”You say, ‘How long will you not rest, O sword of the Lord? Go into your house and rest quietly.’
‭‭7 “그러나 나 여호와가 그렇게 하라고 명령하였으니 어떻게 그것이 쉬겠느냐? 아스글론과 해변가에 사는 자들을 치라고 내가 명령하였다.””But how can it rest, since I, the LORD, have commanded it to be done? I have commanded it to be done against Ashkelon and against the inhabitants of the seacoast
