[현대인성경 KLB 구약 여호수아 16장] 에브라임 지파 : Tribe of Ephraim

1 “요셉 자손이 제비 뽑아 얻은 땅의 경계선은 여리고 맞은편의 요단강에서”(The border of the land that the descendants of Joseph acquired by lot was the Jordan River across from Jericho)
‭‭2 “거기서 아렉 사람이 살고 있는 아다롯 – 앗달을 지나”(From there we passed Ataroth – Addar, where the Archites lived)
‭‭3 “서쪽으로 야블렛 사람의 경계로 내려가 아래 벧 – 호론까지 미치고 거기서 게셀에 이르러 지중해에서 그 경계선이 끝났다.”(It went down to the border of the Japhletites on the west side, extending as far as Lower Beth-Horon, and from there to Gezer, where the border ended in the Mediterranean Sea)
‭‭4 “이상은 요셉 자손, 곧 에브라임 지파와 므낫세 서쪽 반 지파가 분배받은 땅의 경계선이다.”(This is the boundary of the land divided between the descendants of Joseph, that is, the tribe of Ephraim and the western half of Manasseh)
‭‭5 “에브라임 지파가 그 집안별로 얻은 땅의 경계선은 동쪽 아다롯 – 앗달에서 시작하여 윗 벧 – 호론에 이르고”(The borders of the land that the tribe of Ephraim acquired by their families began from Ataroth-Addar in the east to Upper Beth-Horon)
‭‭6 “거기서 서쪽으로 나아가 지중해에 이르렀다. 다시 그 경계선은 북쪽 믹므닷에서 시작하여 동쪽으로 돌아 다아낫 – 실로와 야노아를 지난 다음”(From there it went west to the Mediterranean Sea. Again, the border began at Mikmedad in the north, and turned east, passing through Taanath– Shiloh and Janoah)
‭‭7 “아다롯과 나아라로 내려가서 여리고에 이르러 요단강에서 끝났다.”(They went down to Ataroth and Naarah, came to Jericho, and ended at the Jordan River)
‭‭8 “다시 그 경계선은 북쪽 답부아에서 시작하여 서쪽으로 나아가 가나 시내를 따라 지중해까지 가서 끝났다. 이상은 에브라임 지파가 집안별로 분배받은 땅의 경계선이다.”(Again the boundary began at Tapbua in the north and went west along the brook Cana to the Mediterranean Sea. These are the boundaries of the land that the tribe of Ephraim was allotted according to their families)
‭‭9 “이 밖에 에브라임 지파는 므낫세 서쪽 반 지파의 땅 중에서도 일부 성과 부락을 얻었다.”(In addition, the tribe of Ephraim acquired some cities and villages in the land of the half-tribe to the west of Manasseh)
‭‭10 “그러나 그들은 게셀에 사는 가나안 사람을 쫓아내지 않았으므로 그들이 오늘날까지 에브라임 지파 가운데 살면서 종살이하고 있다.”(But they did not drive out the Canaanites who lived in Gezer, so they live among the tribe of Ephraim and serve as slaves to this day)
