1 “유다 왕 여호사밧이 예루살렘의 자기 궁전으로 무사히 돌아오자”When Jehoshaphat king of Judah returned safely to his palace in Jerusalem,

‭‭7 “그러므로 여러분은 여호와를 두려워하는 마음으로 신중하게 재판하십시오. 우리 하나님 여호와께서는 부정하고 공정치 못한 재판이나 뇌물받는 일을 용납하지 않으십니다.””So judge carefully in the fear of the LORD. Our God, Jehovah, does not tolerate dishonest and unfair trials or accepting bribes.”
‭‭8 “그리고 여호사밧은 예루살렘에도 법정을 마련하고 레위 사람들과 제사장들과 족장들을 법관으로 임명하여 예루살렘 주민들의 모든 소송 문제를 처리하게 하고”And Jehoshaphat also set up courts in Jerusalem, and appointed the Levites, priests, and chieftains as judges to deal with all the lawsuits of the inhabitants of Jerusalem
‭‭9 “그들에게 이렇게 지시하였다. “여러분은 여호와를 두려워하는 마음과 성실하고 진실한 마음으로 이 일을 수행해 나가야 합니다.”He instructed them to do so. “You must do this in the fear of the Lord and in sincerity and sincerity of heart
‭‭10 “만일 어떤 성에 사는 여러분의 동족이 살인 사건이나 그 밖에 율법과 어떤 규정을 어긴 문제로 법정에 나오면 여러분은 그들에게 경고하여 여호와께 범죄하는 일이 없도록 하십시오. 그렇지 않으면 여러분과 여러분의 동족이 다 같이 여호와의 노여우심을 사게 될 것입니다. 그러나 이 일을 잘 수행하면 여러분에게는 아무 죄가 없을 것입니다.”If your own people in a city come before the court for murder or any other violation of the law or any regulation, you warn them so that they do not offend the LORD.
