다윗의 교훈시. 에돔 사람 도엑이 사울에게 가서 다윗이 아히멜렉의 집에 왔디는 말을 했을 때 지은 것. David's teaching poem. This was written by Doeg the Edomite when he went to Saul and told him that David had come to the house of Ahimelech

1 “폭군 같은 자여, 네가 어째서 악을 자랑하느냐? 하나님의 사랑은 영원하다.”O tyrant, why do you boast of evil? God's love is eternal
‭‭2 “남을 속이며 악한 음모를 꾸미는 네 혀가 날카로운 면도칼 같구나.”Your tongue is like a sharp razor, deceiving others and plotting evil
‭‭3 “너는 선보다 악을 더 사랑하고 진실보다 거짓을 더 사랑한다.”You love evil more than good, and lies more than the truth
‭‭4 “간사한 자여, 네가 남을 해치는 말을 좋아하는구나.”Treacherous one, you love to say things that hurt others
‭‭5 “그래서 하나님이 너를 치고 네 집에서 너를 뽑아내며 이 세상에서 너를 영원히 제거하실 것이다.”So God will strike you and rip you out of your house and remove you from this world forever
‭‭6 “의로운 자들이 이것을 보고 두려워하며 비웃고”When the righteous saw this, they were afraid and laughed
‭‭7 ““이 사람은 하나님을 자기 피난처로 삼지 않고 그의 많은 재산을 의지하며 남을 해침으로써 강해진 자이다” 할 것이다.”“This person does not take God as his refuge, but relies on his wealth and becomes strong by harming others.”
‭‭8 “그러나 나는 하나님의 집에서 싱싱하게 자라나는 감람나무 같으니 내가 하나님의 한결같은 사랑을 영원히 의지하리라.”But I am like an olive tree growing fresh in the house of God; I will forever trust in God’s steadfast love
‭‭9 “하나님이시여, 주께서 행하신 일에 대하여 내가 항상 주께 감사하고 주의 선하심에 대하여 주의 백성 앞에서 주를 찬양하겠습니다.”I will always give thanks to you, O God, for what you have done; I will praise you before your people for your goodness
