1 “여호와여, 내가 항상 주의 사랑을 노래하며 주의 성실하심을 대대에 전하겠습니다.”Lord, I will always sing of your love and tell of your faithfulness to all generations
2 “주의 사랑이 영원하며 주의 성실하심이 하늘처럼 영구함을 내가 선포하겠습니다.”I will declare that your love endures forever and your faithfulness endures as the heavens
‭‭3 “주께서 말씀하셨습니다. “내가 나의 택한 자와 계약을 맺고 나의 종 다윗에게 이렇게 맹세하였다.”The Lord said: “I made a covenant with my chosen one, and I swore to David my servant:
‭‭4 “‘내가 네 자손을 대대로 왕위에 앉혀 네 나라가 영구히 지속되게 하리라.’ ””I will place your descendants on the throne throughout their generations, and I will establish your kingdom forever
‭‭5 “여호와여, 하늘이 주의 놀라운 일을 찬양하며 수많은 천사들이 주의 성실하심을 찬양합니다.”Lord, the heavens praise your wondrous works, and countless angels praise your faithfulness
‭‭6 “하늘에서 여호와와 비교할 자가 누구며 하늘의 존재들 가운데 여호와와 같은 자가 누구입니까?”Who in heaven can be compared to Jehovah? Who is like Jehovah among the heavenly beings?
‭‭7 “거룩한 천사들도 주를 두려워하고 있습니다.”Even the holy angels fear you
‭‭8 “전능하신 여호와 하나님이시여, 주와 같은 자가 누구입니까? 주는 능력이 많으시고 모든 일에 성실하신 분이십니다.”Jehovah God Almighty, who is like you? The Lord is very powerful and faithful in all things
‭‭9 “주께서는 성난 바다를 다스리시며 파도가 일 때 그것을 잠잠하게 하십니다.”You control the raging sea and calm it when its waves rise
‭‭10 “주는 이집트를 살해당한 자처럼 박살내고 주의 강한 능력으로 주의 원수들을 흩어 버렸습니다.”You have destroyed Egypt like a slain man; you have scattered your enemies by your mighty power
‭‭11 “하늘도 주의 것이며 땅도 주의 것입니다. 주께서 세계와 그 가운데 있는 모든 것을 만드셨습니다.”The heavens are yours and the earth is yours too. You made the world and everything in it
‭‭12 “남북을 주께서 만드셨으므로 다볼산과 헤르몬산이 기뻐서 주께 노래합니다.”Mount Tabor and Mount Hermon sing to the Lord for joy, for you have created the north and south

‭‭16 “그들은 하루 종일 주의 이름과 의 때문에 기뻐하고 즐거워합니다.”They rejoice and rejoice in your name and righteousness all day long

‭‭20 “내 종 다윗을 찾아 거룩한 기름을 부어 그를 왕으로 삼은 것이라.”I found my servant David and anointed him with holy oil and made him king
‭‭21 “내 손이 그를 붙들어 주고 내 팔이 그를 힘 있게 할 것이니”My hands will uphold him and my arms will strengthen him
‭‭22 “원수가 그를 착취하지 못하고 악인이 그를 괴롭히지 못하리라.”The enemy will not exploit him, and the wicked will not oppress him
‭‭23 “내가 그의 원수들을 박멸하고 그를 미워하는 자들을 모조리 죽이겠다.”I will destroy his enemies and kill all who hate him
‭‭24 “내가 성실과 사랑으로 그와 함께할 것이니 그가 내 이름으로 위대하게 되리라.”I will be with him in faithfulness and love, and he will be great in my name
‭‭25 “내가 그에게 지중해에서 유프라테스강까지 세력을 떨치게 할 것이니”I will give him power from the Mediterranean to the Euphrates River
‭‭26 “그가 나를 불러 ‘주는 나의 아버지이며 나의 하나님이시요, 내 구원의 반석이십니다’ 하리라.”He will call to me and say, ‘You are my Father and my God, the rock of my salvation.’
‭‭27 “내가 또 그를 내 맏아들로 삼고 세상에서 가장 위대한 왕이 되게 할 것이며”And I will make him my firstborn son, and I will make him the greatest king on earth
‭‭28 “그를 항상 사랑할 것이니 그와 맺은 계약이 영원히 변치 않을 것이다.”I will always love him, and my covenant with him will never change
‭‭29 “내가 그 후손을 대대로 왕위에 앉혀 그의 나라가 끝없이 지속되게 하리라.”I will place his descendants on the throne for generations to come and his kingdom will last forever
‭‭30 ““만일 그의 자손이 내 법을 어기고 내 지시에 순종하지 않으며”If his descendants break my laws and do not obey my commands,
‭‭31 “내 교훈을 무시하고 내 명령을 지키지 않으면”If you ignore my teachings and do not keep my commands
‭‭32 “내가 막대기로 그들의 죄를 벌하고 채찍으로 그들의 죄를 다스릴 것이다.”I will punish their sin with a rod and discipline their sin with a rod
‭‭33 “그러나 내가 그에게서 내 사랑과 신실함을 거두지 않고”But I will not withhold my love and faithfulness from him
‭‭34 “그와 맺은 계약을 어기거나 그에게 한 약속을 변경하지 않을 것이다.”I will not break my contract with him or change my promises to him
‭‭35 ““내가 일단 나의 거룩함으로 맹세하였으니 절대로 다윗에게 거짓말을 하지 않으리라.”I have sworn by my holiness that I will never lie to David
‭‭36 “그에게는 후손이 끊어지지 않고 그의 왕위는 해처럼 항상 내 앞에 있을 것이며”He will have descendants without end, and his throne will be like the sun before me
‭‭37 “하늘의 충실한 증인인 달처럼 영구할 것이다.””Will be as permanent as the moon, a faithful witness in the sky
‭‭38 “그러나 주께서는 기름 부어 택하신 왕에게 노하셔서 그를 거절하고 물리치셨으며”But the anger of the LORD was kindled against the king whom he had anointed, and he rejected him and rejected him
‭‭39 “주의 종과 맺은 계약을 깨뜨리시고 그의 왕관을 땅에 던져 더럽혔으며”You have broken your covenant with your servant; you have defiled his crown by throwing it to the ground

‭‭42 “주께서는 그의 원수들에게 승리를 주셔서 그들이 기뻐하도록 하셨으며”The Lord has given victory to his enemies so that they may rejoice
‭‭43 “그의 칼날을 쓸모없게 하시고 그를 전쟁에서 패하게 하셨습니다.”You made his sword useless and caused him to be defeated in battle
‭‭44 “또 주는 그의 영광을 뺏으시고 그의 왕위를 땅에 엎으셨으며”And you have taken away his glory and cast down his throne to the ground
‭‭45 “그의 젊은 시절을 단축하시고 그를 수치로 덮어 버렸습니다.”You cut short his youth and covered him with shame
‭‭46 “여호와여, 이런 일이 언제까지 계속되겠습니까? 주는 영원히 자신을 숨기시겠습니까? 언제까지 주의 분노가 불처럼 타오르겠습니까?”Lord, how long will this continue? Will the Lord hide himself forever? How long will your anger burn like fire?
‭‭47 “내 생명이 얼마나 짧은지 기억하소서. 주는 모든 인생을 정말 허무하게 창조하셨습니다.”Remember how short my life is. The Lord created all life in vain
‭‭48 “죽지 않고 영원히 살 자가 어디 있으며 무덤에 들어가지 않을 자가 어디 있습니까?”Who will live forever without dying, and who will not enter the grave?
‭‭49 “여호와여, 이전의 주의 사랑은 어디 있으며 주께서 다윗에게 하신 약속은 어디 있습니까?”Lord, where is your former love and where is your promise to David?
‭‭50 “여호와여, 주의 종이 당하는 모욕을 기억하소서. 모든 민족이 나를 멸시하고 있습니다.”Remember, O LORD, the humiliation of your servant. All nations despise me
‭‭51 “여호와여, 주의 원수들이 주께서 택하신 왕을 조롱하며 그의 거동까지 비웃고 있습니다.”Lord, your enemies are mocking the king you have chosen and even ridicule his actions
‭‭52 “여호와를 영원히 찬양하라! 아멘! 아멘!”Praise Jehovah forever! amen! amen!
