[현대인성경 구약 출애굽기 3장] 불꽃이 일어난 떨기나무와 모세에게 해방을 약속하시는 하나님 : [Modern Human Bible, Old Testament, Exodus 3] A bush with a burning flame and God who promised liberation to Moses

모세가 아들을 낳은 뒤에 40년간의 광야생활 행적은 보이지 않고, 하나님께서 사용하시는 이 때의 나이가 80입니다. 

-> After the birth of a son, Moses does not see his actions for 40 years, and God enters it, and he is 80 years old at this time

1. 어느 날 모세는 미디안 제사장인 자기 장인 이드로의 양떼를 먹이다가 양떼를 광야의 서쪽 끝으로 몰고 가서 하나님의 산인 시내산에 이르렀다

(One day Moses was feeding the flocks of his father-in-law Jethro, a priest of Midian, and led the flock to the western end of the wilderness and came to Mount Sinai, the mountain of God)

2. 그런데 여호와의 천사가 떨기나무 불꽃 가운데서 그에게 나타났다. 모세가 보니 떨기나무에 불이 붙었으나 그 떨기나무가 타서 없어지지 않았다

(But the angel of the LORD appeared to him from the flames of a bush. Moses looked and saw that the bush was on fire, but the bush was not burned up)

3. 그래서 모세는 "이상하다. 어째서 떨기나무가 타지 않는가? 한번 가서 봐야겠다" 하고 혼자 중얼거렸다

(So Moses muttered to himself, "It's strange. Why doesn't the bush burn? I'll go and see it")

애굽과 시내 반도에서 흔히 볼 수 있는 아카시아 종류의 가시나무 즉, 밑둥에서부터 줄기가 많이 나와 더부룩하게 된 관목을 지칭하는 것으로 보인다 - 라이프성경사전
It seems to refer to an acacia-type thorn that is common in Egypt and the Sinai Peninsula, that is, a shrub with many stems coming out from the base - Life Bible Dictionary

-> 잡목과 같이 연약한 모세와 이스라엘 백성을 억압가운데서 구해주실 것을 넌지시 알려주는 대목이다

(This is a passage that hints that the people of Israel, who are weak like weeds, will be rescued from oppression)

4. 여호와께서는 모세가 가까이 접근해 오는 것을 보시고 떨기나무 가운데서 "모세야! 모세야!" 하고 부르셨다. 모세가 "내가 여기 있습니다" 하고 대답하자

(When Jehovah saw Moses approaching, he said, "Moses! Moses!" from among the bushes. He called. Moses answered, "Here I am")

5. 하나님이 그에게 말씀하셨다. "더 이상 가까이 오지 말아라. 네가 선 곳은 거룩한 땅이다. 신을 벗어라

(God said to him. "Do not come any closer. The place where you are standing is holy ground. Take off your shoes)

6. 나는 네 조상의 하나님, 곧 아브라함의 하나님, 이삭의 하나님, 야곱의 하나님이다." 그 말을 들은 모세는 하나님 뵙는 것이 두려워 얼굴을 가렸다

(I am the God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob." When Moses heard this, he hid his face because he was afraid to see God)

7. 그때 여호와께서 이렇게 말씀하셨다. "나는 내 백성이 이집트에서 학대받는 것을 똑똑히 보았고 잔인한 감독자들에게서 구해 달라고 부르짖는 그들의 부르짖음을 들었으며 그들의 고통에 대해서도 알고 있다

(Then the LORD said: “I have seen my people mistreated in Egypt, I have heard their cry for deliverance from their cruel overseers, and I know their suffering)

8. 그래서 내가 내려와 그들을 이집트 사람들의 손에서 구출하고 그 땅에서 이끌어내어 아름답고 넓은 땅, 곧 가나안족, 헷족, 아모리족, 브리스족, 히위족, 여부스족이 살고 있는 기름지고 비옥한 땅으로 인도하려고 한다

(So I will come down and rescue them from the hand of the Egyptians, and I will bring them out of the land into a beautiful and fertile land, inhabited by the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Amorites, the Perizzites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites)

9. 이스라엘 자손들의 부르짖음이 나에게 들리고 또 이집트 사람들이 그들을 학대하는 것을 내가 보았으니

(I have heard the cry of the children of Israel, and I have seen the Egyptians oppressing them)

-> 우리 또한 약자를 보호해야 하며, 하나님이 어디서나 보고 계시며, 의를 행하신다는 사실을 잊지 말아야 합니다

(We too must protect the weak, and we must not forget that God sees everywhere and does righteousness)

10. 이제 내가 너를 바로에게 보내 내 백성을 이집트에서 인도해 내도록 하겠다"

(Now I will send you to Pharaoh to bring my people out of Egypt”)

-> 하나님께서는 사람을 통해 그 분의 뜻을 이루시는 분이십니다

(God does His will through man)

11. "내가 누구기에 바로에게 가며 이스라엘 자손을 이집트에서 인도해 내야 합니까?"

(“Who am I to go to Pharaoh and bring the children of Israel out of Egypt?”)

-> 주님께서 부르실때 우리는 즉시 순종하지 않는데, 그건 겸손이라고 생각하지 않습니다. 하나님의 능력을 신뢰하지 못하고 나의 힘으로 해결해야 한다고 결정을 하는 실수를 종종 범하고 맙니다.

(When the Lord calls, we don't immediately obey, and I don't think that's humility. I often make the mistake of not trusting in God's power and deciding that I have to do it on my own)

12.  "내가 너와 함께하겠다. 네가 이 백성을 이집트에서 인도해 낸 후에 너희가 이 산에서 나를 섬길 것이다. 바로 이것이 내가 너를 보내는 증거가 될 것이다"

("I will be with you. After you have brought this people out of Egypt, you will serve me on this mountain. This will be the proof that I am sending you")

-> 우리는 할 수 없다고 주님께 핑계를 대지만, 주님은 힘을 실어주시고, 구체적인 행동 가이드까지 안내해주십니다.

(We make excuses to the Lord that we can't, but He gives us strength and even guides us to concrete actions)

13. "만일 내가 이스라엘 자손들에게 가서 '여러분 조상의 하나님이 나를 여러분에게 보내셨습니다' 하고 말했을 때 그들이 '그의 이름이 무엇이냐?' 하고 물으면 내가 그들에게 무엇이라고 말해야 합니까?

("If I go to the children of Israel and say, 'The God of your fathers has sent me to you,' they will say, 'What is his name?' and what should I tell them?)

14. "나는 스스로 존재하는 자이다. 너는 이스라엘 자손들에게 '스스로 존재하는 자가 나를 여러분에게 보내셨습니다' 하고 말해 주어라"

("I am who I am. You say to the children of Israel, 'I AM has sent me to you'")

15. 하나님이 다시 모세에게 말씀하셨다. "너는 이스라엘 자손들에게 '여러분 조상의 하나님, 곧 아브라함의 하나님, 이삭의 하나님, 야곱의 하나님 여호와께서 나를 여러분에게 보내셨습니다' 하고 말하여라. 이것은 나의 영원한 이름이며 앞으로 모든 세대가 나를 기억할 이름이다

(God spoke to Moses again. "Say to the children of Israel, 'The LORD, the God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me to you.' This is my eternal name, and a name that all generations will remember me)

16. 너는 가서 이스라엘의 장로들을 모아 그들에게 이렇게 말하라. '여러분 조상의 하나님, 곧 아브라함과 이삭과 야곱의 하나님이 나에게 나타나셔서 이런 말씀을 하셨습니다: 내가 너희를 돌아보고 너희가 이집트에서 당한 일을 보았다

(Go and gather the elders of Israel and say to them: 'The God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, appeared to me and said to me, 'I have looked upon you and I have seen what happened to you in Egypt)

17. 약속한 대로 내가 이집트에서 고생하는 너희를 이끌어내어 기름지고 비옥한 땅, 곧 가나안족, 헷족, 아모리족, 브리스족, 히위족, 여부스족의 땅으로 인도하겠다

(As I promised, I will bring you out of Egypt to a fertile and fertile land, the land of the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Amorites, the Perizzites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites)

18. "그들은 네 말을 들을 것이다. 그리고 너는 장로들과 함께 이집트 왕에게 가서 '히브리 사람의 하나님 여호와께서 우리에게 나타나셨습니다. 우리가 우리 하나님 여호와께 희생제물을 드릴 수 있도록 3일길쯤 광야로 나가게 해 주십시오' 하고 말하라

("They will listen to you. Then you and the elders will go to the king of Egypt and say, 'The LORD, the God of the Hebrews, has appeared to us. Let us go out into the wilderness about three days' journey, so that we can offer sacrifices to the LORD our God. ' and say)

19. 이집트 왕이 강한 압력을 받지 않는 한 너희를 내보내지 않을 것이다

(I will not let you go unless the king of Egypt is under strong pressure)

20. 그러나 내가 여러 가지 기적으로 이집트를 벌할 것이니 그 후에는 그가 너희를 나가게 할 것이다

(But I will punish Egypt with many miracles, and after that he will let you go)

21. "내가 이집트 사람들이 내 백성에게 호감을 가지게 하여 너희가 떠날 때 빈손으로 가지 않도록 하겠다

(“I will make the Egyptians favor my people, so that when you leave, you will not go empty-handed)

22. 모든 이스라엘 여자들이 자기 이웃이나 자기 집에 사는 이집트 여자들에게 금은 패물과 의복을 요구하여 그들의 자녀들을 꾸밀 것이니 너희가 이런 식으로 이집트 사람의 물건을 빼앗아 가게 될 것이다"

(All the women of Israel will ask the Egyptian women who live in their neighbourhood or in their houses to adorn their children with gold and silver articles and clothing)
