[현대인성경 KLB 구약 에스겔 15장] 포도나무 가지에 대한 비유 The Parable of the Vine Branches

1 “여호와께서 나에게 말씀하셨다.”the LORD spoke to me
‭‭2 ““사람의 아들아, 포도나무를 어떻게 다른 나무에 비할 수 있겠느냐? 포도나무 가지를 숲속의 나무에 비교할 때 나은 것이 무엇이냐?”Son of man, how can a vine be compared to any other tree? How is a branch better than a tree in the forest?
‭‭3 “포도나무 가지에서 무슨 쓸모있는 나무가 나오겠느냐? 그것을 가지고 물건을 걸어 둘 못이라도 만들 수 있겠느냐?”Can any useful tree grow from a vine branch? Or can you make a nail out of it to hang something on?
‭‭4 “그것은 불에 던질 땔감밖에 되지 않는다. 불이 그 두 끝을 사르고 그 가운데를 새까맣게 태우면 그것을 어디에 쓰겠느냐?”It is nothing but fuel to be thrown into the fire. What good will it be if the fire consumes both ends and blackens the middle?
‭‭5 “그것이 타기 전에도 아무 쓸모가 없는데 그것이 불에 타서 새까맣게 된 다음에야 무슨 쓸모가 있겠느냐?”
‭‭It is of no use even before it burns, so what good will it be after it has burned and turned black?
6 ““그러므로 나 주 여호와가 말한다. 내가 숲속의 나무 중에서 포도나무를 땔감으로 불에 던진 것처럼 예루살렘에 사는 사람들도 불에 던질 것이다.”Therefore thus says the Lord GOD: Just as I have thrown the vine trees of the forest into the fire for fuel, so I will throw the people who live in Jerusalem into the fire
‭‭7 “내가 그들을 대적할 것이니 그들이 불에서 나와도 불이 그들을 삼킬 것이다. 내가 그들을 벌할 때에 너희가 나를 여호와인 줄 알 것이다.”I will be against them, and they will come out of the fire, and the fire will devour them. When I punish them, you will know that I am the LORD
‭‭8 “그들이 나에게 신실하지 못하였으므로 내가 그 땅을 황폐하게 하겠다. 이것은 나 주 여호와의 말이다.””Because they have been unfaithful to me, I will make the land desolate,” declares the Sovereign LORD
