1. 여호와께서 모세에게 말씀하셨다(Jehovah spoke to Moses)

2. "너는 나에게 예물을 가져 오라고 이스라엘 백성에게 말하고 기쁜 마음으로 바치는 자들의 예물을 받아라(“Tell the people of Israel to bring me a gift, and accept the gift of those who gladly give)

3. 네가 그들에게서 받을 예물은 금과 은과 놋,

(The gift you will receive from them is gold, silver and bronze,)

4. 청색, 자색, 홍색 실과 가는 베실, 염소털,

(blue, purple, and scarlet yarn, fine linen, goat hair,)

5. 붉게 물들인 숫양의 가죽과 바닷소의 가죽, 아카시아나무,

(rams' skins dyed red, sea cows' skins, acacia wood,)

6. 등잔에 쓸 감람기름, 예식용 기름을 만드는 데 쓰이는 향품과 분향할 향을 만드는 데 쓰이는 향품,

(olive oil for lamps, spices for ceremonial oil and incense for incense,)

7. 호마노, 대제사장의 예복인 에봇과 가슴패에 물릴 그 밖의 보석들이다

(onyx stone, and other precious stones to be set on the ephod and breastplate of the high priest)

8. 너는 백성들에게 내가 있을 성소를 짓게 하라(Have the people build a sanctuary for me)

9. 성막과 그 안의 모든 기구들은 내가 너에게 보여 줄 양식대로 만들어야 한다"

(The tabernacle and all its furnishings must be made according to the pattern I will show you")

10. "너는 그들에게 아카시아나무로 가로 113센티미터, 세로 68센티미터, 높이 68 센터미터의 궤를 만들게 하고(“You will have them make an ark of acacia wood, 113 cm wide by 68 cm long and 68 cm high)

11. 순금으로 그 안팎을 싸고 윗언저리에 금테를 둘러라

(Cover it inside and out with pure gold, and put a gold border around it)

12. 그리고 금고리 네 개를 만들어 양쪽에 각각 두 개씩 네 발에 달아라

(Then make four rings of gold and put them on your feet, two on each side)

13. 그런 다음 아카시아나무로 운반채를 만들어 금으로 싸서

(Then he made a carrying pole out of acacia wood and wrapped it in gold)

14. 그 운반채를 양쪽 고리에 꿰어(Thread the carrier pole through both rings)

15. 그대로 두고 그것을 빼내지 말아라(Leave it there and don't take it out)

16. 그리고 내가 너에게 줄 두 돌판을 그 궤 속에 넣어 두어라

(And put the two stone tablets that I am giving you into the ark)

17. "너는 순금으로 속죄소가 될 그 궤의 뚜껑을 만들어라. 길이는 113센티미터로 하고 너비는 68센터미터로 하라

(“You shall make a lid for the ark, which is to be a mercy seat, of pure gold. It shall be 113 cm long and 68 cm wide)

18. 그리고 너는 금을 두들겨 두 그룹 천사의 모양을 만들어

(And you beat the gold to make two cherub angels)

19. 궤 뚜껑 양쪽 끝에 각각 하나씩 세워라. 그것은 그 뚜껑과 한 덩어리가 되게 해야 한다

(Place one at each end of the lid of the ark. It should be one piece with the lid)

20. 그 그룹 천사들은 날개를 위로 펴서 속죄소를 덮고 그 얼굴은 속죄소를 향하여 서로 마주 보게 하라

(The cherubim shall spread their wings upward and cover the mercy seat, and their faces shall face one another toward the mercy seat)

21. 그리고 두 돌판을 궤 안에 넣고 속죄소인 그 궤의 뚜껑을 닫아라

(Then put the two tablets of stone into the ark and close the lid of the ark, which is the mercy seat)

22. 두 돌판이 들어 있는 그 궤의 뚜껑 위, 곧 두 그룹 천사 사이에서 내가 너를 만나고 이스라엘 백성에게 명령할 모든 일을 너에게 말하겠다"(I will meet with you on the lid of the ark containing the two tablets of stone, between the two cherubim angels, and I will tell you everything I will command the people of Israel”)

23. "너는 아카시아나무로 길이 90센티미터, 너비 45센티미터, 높이 68센티미터의 상을 만들고

(“You will make a statue of acacia wood 90 cm long, 45 cm wide and 68 cm high)

24. 그것을 순금으로 싸서 그 가장자리에 금테를 둘러라(Cover it in pure gold and put a gold border around it)

25. 그리고 그 상 둘레에 손바닥 넓이만한 턱을 만들어 그 주위에 금테를 두르고

(Then he made a rim about the size of the palm of his hand around the statue and put a gold rim around it)

26. 또 금고리 넷을 만들어 상 다리가 붙은 네 모퉁이에 달아라. 그 금고리는

(Also make four rings of gold and attach them to the four corners of the legs of the table. that golden ring)

27. 턱 곁에 달아 운반채를 꿸 수 있게 해야 한다

(It should be attached to the side of the chin so that the carrying pole can be hooked)

28. 그리고 아카시아나무로 운반채를 만들어 금으로 싸서 그것으로 상을 운반하도록 하라

(And make a carrying pole of acacia wood, and cover it with gold, and use it to carry the table)

29. 너는 또 순금으로 대접과 국자와 주전자와 큰 잔을 만들어라

(You shall also make bowls, ladles, jugs, and large cups of pure gold)

30. 그리고 그 상 위에 차려 놓을 빵을 만들어 항상 내 앞에 있게 하라"

(And make bread to set on the table, so that it is always in front of me")

31. "너는 순금을 두들겨 등대를 만들어라. 그것은 밑받침과 줄기와 등잔과 꽃 모양의 장식을 모두 하나로 연이어 만들어야 한다

(“Make a lampstand out of pure gold. Its base, stem, lamp, and flower ornaments are to be made one after another)

32-33. 그 등대 줄기에서 양쪽으로 가지가 세개씩 뻗어 나오게 하고 각 가지마다 세 개의 살구꽃 모양을 장식하라

(Make three branches on each side of the lighthouse trunk, and decorate each branch with three apricot blossoms)

34-35. 그리고 등대 줄기에 네 개의 살구꽃 모양을 장식하라. 두 개는 윗가지와 아랫가지 사이에 각각 하나씩 만들고 하나는 제일 윗가지 바로 위에, 하나는 제일 아랫가지 바로 밑에 만들어야 한다

(And decorate the stem of the lighthouse with four apricot blossoms. Two should be made, one each between the upper and lower branches, one just above the top branch and one just below the bottom branch)

36. 이런 꽃 모양의 장식과 가지와 줄기는 모두 순금을 두들겨 전체를 하나로 연이어 만들어라

(All these flower-shaped decorations, branches and trunks are made of pure gold, and the whole is made one after another)

37. 그런 다음 너는 일곱 개의 등잔을 만들어 줄기와 여섯 가지 끝에 얹어 빛이 앞쪽으로 비치게 하라

(Then make seven lamps and put them on the stem and six ends so that the light shines forward)

38. 그리고 순금으로 심지 자르는 가위와 불똥 그릇도 만들어야 한다

(And you must make wick-cutting shears and spark bowls of pure gold)

39. 너는 순금 34킬로그램으로 등대와 이 모든 기구들을

(You will build the lighthouse and all these utensils with 34 kg of pure gold)

40. 내가 이 산에서 너에게 보여 준 양식대로 만들어라"

(Make it according to the pattern I showed you on this mountain")
