1 그는 아카시아나무로 제물을 태워 바칠 제단을 만들었다. 그것은 가로 세로가 각각 2.3미터로 네모가 반듯하고 높이는 1.4미터였다(He made an altar from acacia wood to burn sacrifices. It was square, measuring 2.3 meters by 2.3 meters, and 1.4 meters high)

(He made horns on each of the four corners of the altar and covered the altar with bronze)

3 그런 다음 그는 그 단의 모든 기구, 곧 재를 담는 통과 부삽과 피를 담는 그릇과 고기 갈고리와 불 옮기는 그릇을 다 놋으로 만들었으며(Then he made all the utensils of the altar, the ashes cask, the shovels, the blood vessels, the meat hooks, and the fire-carrying bowls, all of brass)

4 또 단에 쓸 놋그물을 만들어 단의 아래 언저리 밑에 놓아 그것이 단의 절반 높이로 올라오게 하고(He also made a bronze net for the altar and put it under the lower edge of the altar so that it rises to half the height of the altar)

5 그 놋그물 네 모퉁이에 우난채를 꿸 고리 네 개를 만들었다

(At the four corners of the net, he made four loops for stringing the rain net)

6 그리고 운반채는 아카시아나무로 만들어 놋으로 싸고

(And the carts are made of acacia wood and covered with brass)

7 그것을 단의 양쪽 고리에 꿰어 단을 운반할 수 있게 하였으며 그 단은 널빤지로 속이 비게 만들었다(They were threaded through the loops on both sides of the sheaf so that the sheaf could be carried, and the sheaf was hollowed out of planks)

8 그는 또 회막 입구에서 섬기는 여자들이 바친 놋거울로 넓적한 물통과 그 받침을 만들었다(He also made a large water container and its base from brass mirrors given by the women who served at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting)

9 다음으로 그는 성막 뜰을 위해 고운 모시 포장을 만들었는데 뜰 남쪽을 위해서 포장의 길이를 45미터로 하고

(Next he made a covering of fine linen for the courtyard of the tabernacle, and for the south side of the court the length of the covering was 45 m)

10 20개의 기둥을 만들었다. 그리고 그 기둥 받침은 놋으로 만들고 기둥의 갈고리와 가로대는 은으로 만들었다(Made 20 pillars. And the bases of the pillars were of brass, and the hooks and crossbars of the pillars were of silver)

11 또 맞은편인 북쪽을 위해서도 이와 똑같이 만들고(And do the same for the other side, the north side)

12 서쪽을 위해서는 포장 길이를 22.5미터로 하였으며 10개의 기둥과 받침을 만들고 기둥의 갈고리와 가로대를 은으로 만들었다(For the west side, the length of the pavement was 22.5 meters, and 10 pillars and supports were made, and the hooks and crossbars of the pillars were made of silver)

13 그리고 출입구를 낼 동쪽 길이도 22.5미터가 되게 하였다

(And the east side of the entrance was also 22.5 meters long)

14-15 출입구 양쪽을 위해 각각 3개의 기둥과 받침을 만들고 거기에 칠 6.8미터 길이의 포장을 만들었다(For each side of the doorway, three pillars and supports were made, and a 6.8-meter-long pavement was made to paint on them)

16 이와 같이 뜰 사면의 포장은 모두 고운 모시로 만들었으며

(Likewise, all the wrappings around the courtyard were made of fine linen)

17 기둥 받침은 놋으로 만들고 기둥의 갈고리와 가로대와 기둥머리 덮개는 은으로 만들었으며 뜰의 모든 기둥에는 은가로대를 꿸 수 있게 하였다(The bases of the pillars were of brass, and the hooks of the pillars, crossbars, and caps of the pillars were of silver, and silver crosspieces were threaded through all the pillars in the courtyard)

18 그리고 청색, 자색, 홍색 실과 가늘게 꼰 베실로 수놓아 짜서 뜰의 출입구 막을 만들었으며 그 길이는 9미터, 높이는 뜰의 포장과 마찬가지로 2.3미터로 하였다(And it was made of blue, purple, and scarlet yarn, and finely twisted linen, embroidered and woven to make a screen for the entrance to the courtyard, nine meters long and 2.3 meters high, like the courtyard pavement)

19 또 출입구 막을 달 수 있도록 4개의 기둥과 기둥 받침과 기둥머리 덮개, 그리고 가로대와 갈고리를 만들었는데 그 기둥 받침은 놋이며 갈고리와 기둥머리 덮개와 가로대는 은이었다(They also made the four pillars, the bases, the coverings for the capitals, the crosspieces, and the hooks to fasten the curtains to the entrance)

20 그리고 성막 말뚝과 뜰 사면의 포장 말뚝은 다 놋으로 만들었다

(And the posts of the tabernacle and the stakes of the courtyard all around were made of brass)

21 법궤를 안치할 성막을 세우는 데 쓴 재료의 품목은 모세의 명령을 받아 제사장 아론의 아들인 이다말이 계산하였으며(The items used to build the tabernacle for the ark were calculated by Ithamar, the son of Aaron the priest, at the command of Moses)

22 유다 지파 사람 훌의 손자이며 우리의 아들인 브사렐은 여호와께서 모세에게 명령하신 모든 것을 만들었다. 그리고(Bezalel the son of Uri, the grandson of Hur of the tribe of Judah, made everything the LORD commanded Moses. And)

23 그의 조력자인 단 지파 사람 아히사막의 아들 오홀리압은 재능이 있어서 조각하고 정교한 일을 하며 청색, 자색, 홍색 실과 가늘게 꼰 베실로 수놓는 일을 하였다(His helper, Oholiab the son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan, was gifted in carving and crafting and embroidering with blue, purple, and scarlet yarn and fine twined linen)

24 성소를 짓고 그 모든 기구를 만드는 데 사용된 금은 약 1톤이었다

(About a ton of gold was used to build the sanctuary and make all its utensils)

25 그리고 인구 조사를 받은 백성들이 바친 은은 약 3,420킬로그램이었다

(And the silver contributed by the censused people was about 3,420 kg)

26 20세 이상 인구 조사를 받은 사람이 전부 603,550명이므로 인당 약 6그램씩 낸 셈이었다

(A total of 603,550 people aged 20 or older took the census, so that's about 6 grams per person)

27 그 중에서 은 3,400킬로그램으로 성막 벽이 될 기둥과 지성소 앞의 휘장 기둥에 받칠 밑받침 100개를 만들었으며 그 밑받침 하나에는 은 34킬로그램씩 들었다

(Of these, 3,400 kilograms of silver were used to make 100 bases for the pillars for the walls of the tabernacle and for the pillars of the curtain in front of the Holy of Holies. Each base contained 34 kilograms of silver)

28 그리고 나머지 은 20킬로그램으로 기둥 갈고리와 기둥머리와 기둥 가로대를 만들었다(And of the remaining 20 kg of silver, he made hooks for the pillars, capitals, and crossbars of the pillars)

29 그 밖에 백성들이 바친 놋은 약 2,400킬로그램인데

(In addition, the people contributed about 2,400 kilograms of brass)

30 이것으로 성막 출입구 기둥 받침, 놋제단과 놋그물과 그 모든 기구,(These were the bases for the pillars at the entrance of the tabernacle, the bronze altar, the bronze net, and all its utensils)

31 뜰 사면의 기둥 받침과 뜰 출입구 기둥 받침, 그리고 성막의 말뚝과 뜰 사면의 모든 말뚝을 만들었다

(He made the bases for the pillars on the four sides of the court, the bases for the pillars at the entrance to the courtyard, and the stakes for the tabernacle and all the stakes for the four sides of the court)
