[현대인성경 KLB 구약 욥기 26장]

1 “그래서 욥이 이렇게 대답하였다.”So Job answered this way:
‭‭2 ““너는 힘없는 자를 잘 도왔고 기력 없는 팔을 잘 구하였으며”You have helped the helpless and rescued the weak arm
‭‭3 “지혜 없는 자에게 좋은 충고를 하여 너의 훌륭한 지식을 잘 나타내었구나!”You have demonstrated your excellent knowledge by giving good advice to the unwise!
‭‭4 “누가 너에게 그런 말을 하게 하였느냐? 누구의 신이 네 입에서 나왔느냐?”Who told you to say such things? Whose god has come out of your mouth?
‭‭5 ““죽은 자들의 영들이 지하의 물 속에서 떨며”The spirits of the dead tremble in the subterranean waters
‭‭6 “하나님 앞에는 죽은 자의 세계가 드러나고 아무것도 가리어진 것이 없다.”The world of the dead is revealed before God and nothing is hidden
‭‭7 “하나님은 북쪽 하늘을 허공에 펴시며 지구를 공간에 매달아 놓으시고”God stretched out the northern sky into space and suspended the earth in space
‭‭8 “물을 짙은 구름으로 싸시며 그 무게로 구름이 찢어지지 않도록 하셨다.”He surrounded the water with a thick cloud and kept it from tearing under its weight
‭‭9 “그는 자기 보좌를 구름으로 가리시고”He covers his throne with a cloud
‭‭10 “수면에 경계를 그어 빛과 어두움의 한계를 정하셨다.”He drew a boundary on the surface of the water and set the limits of light and darkness
‭‭11 “그가 한번 꾸짖으면 하늘의 기둥이 무서워 떤다.”Once he is scolded, the pillars of heaven tremble with fear
‭‭12 “그는 권능으로 바다를 잠잠하게 하시고 그 지혜로 바다의 교만을 꺾어 버리시며”He calms the sea with his power and crushes its pride with his wisdom
‭‭13 “그의 입김으로 하늘을 맑게 하시고 그의 손으로 날쌔게 기어가는 뱀을 찌르신다.”He clears the sky with his breath and pierces the swift crawling serpent with his hand
‭‭14 “그러나 이런 것은 그의 능력 중에서 아주 작은 부분에 불과하며 우리가 그에 대하여 들은 것도 세미한 속삭임에 지나지 않는다. 그렇다면 누가 감히 하나님의 크신 능력을 이해할 수 있겠느냐?””But this is only a very small part of his abilities, and what we have heard of him is only a faint whisper. So who would dare to understand God’s great power?
