1 “이스라엘이 말한다. “내가 어렸을 때부터 내 원수들이 나를 몹시 괴롭게 하였다.”Israel says “From my youth my enemies have tormented me greatly
‭‭2 “그들이 나를 무척 괴롭혔으나 나를 이기지 못하였다.”They tormented me greatly, but they could not overcome me
‭‭3 “그들이 밭을 갈듯이 내 등을 갈아 긴 이랑을 만들었으나”They plowed my back like a field, making long furrows
‭‭4 “여호와는 의로우신 분이시므로 나를 잡아맨 악인의 줄을 끊어 버리셨다.””The LORD is righteous; he has cut off the bands of the wicked that held me captive
‭‭5 “시온을 미워하는 자들은 다 수치를 당하고 물러가기를 원하노라.”May all who hate Zion be put to shame and go away
‭‭6 “그들은 지붕 위에 자라는 풀과 같아서 자라기도 전에 말라 버리는구나.”They are like grass that grows on the roof; they wither before they even grow
‭‭7 “그것은 베는 자의 손과 묶는 자의 품에 차지도 않는다.”It does not fill the hands of those who reap or the arms of those who bind
‭‭8 “지나가는 자들이 “여호와께서 너를 축복하시기 원한다. 우리가 여호와의 이름으로 너를 축복한다” 하고 말하지 않기를 원하노라.”Those passing by said, “May the Lord bless you. We do not want you to say, “We bless you in the name of the LORD.”
