1 “여호와를 찬양하라! 우리 하나님을 찬송하는 것이 좋은 일이며 그를 찬양하는 것이 즐겁고 마땅한 일이다.”Praise Jehovah! It is good to praise our God, and it is pleasant and proper to praise him
‭‭2 “여호와께서 예루살렘을 재건하시며 이스라엘의 포로들을 돌아오게 하시고”The LORD rebuilds Jerusalem and brings back the captives of Israel
‭‭3 “마음이 상한 자를 고치시며 그들의 상처를 싸매시는구나.”He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds
‭‭4 “그가 별의 수를 정하시고 그 이름을 하나하나 부르신다.”He determines the number of the stars and calls them by name one by one
‭‭5 “우리 주는 위대하시고 능력이 많으시며 그 지혜가 무한하시다.”Our Lord is great and mighty, and His wisdom is infinite
‭‭6 “여호와는 겸손한 자를 붙드시지만 악인은 땅에 던지신다.”Jehovah upholds the humble, but casts the wicked to the ground
‭‭7 “감사함으로 여호와께 노래하며 수금으로 우리 하나님께 찬송하라.”Sing to the LORD with thanksgiving; sing melody to our God with the harp
‭‭8 “그가 하늘을 구름으로 덮으시고 땅에 비를 보내시며 산에 풀이 자라게 하시고”He covers the sky with clouds, sends rain on the earth, and causes grass to grow on the mountains
‭‭9 “들짐승과 우는 까마귀 새끼에게 먹을 것을 주신다.”He gives food to the wild animals and the croaking ravens
‭‭10 “여호와는 힘찬 말이나 용감한 군인을 기뻐하는 것이 아니라”The LORD does not delight in strong horses or brave soldiers;
‭‭11 “자기를 두려운 마음으로 섬기며 그의 한결같은 사랑을 바라는 자를 기뻐하신다.”He delights in those who serve him with fear and hope for his unfailing love
‭‭12 “예루살렘아, 여호와를 찬양하라! 시온아, 너의 하나님을 찬양하라!”Praise Jehovah, O Jerusalem! Zion, praise your God!
‭‭13 “그가 네 문을 튼튼하게 지키시고 네 백성에게 복을 주시며”He will keep your gates strong and bless your people
‭‭14 “네 경계선을 안전하게 지키시고 좋은 밀로 너를 배불리 먹이신다.”He keeps your borders safe and feeds you with good wheat
‭‭15 “그가 땅에 명령을 내리시니 그 말씀이 속히 이루어지는구나.”He gives a commandment to the earth, and his word quickly comes to pass
‭‭16 “그가 눈을 양털처럼 내리시며 서리를 재처럼 흩으시고”He makes the snow fall like fleece, and scatters the frost like ashes
‭‭17 “우박을 빵 부스러기처럼 던지시니 누가 그 추위를 견뎌낼 수 있겠는가?”He throws hail like bread crumbs; who can endure the cold?
‭‭18 “그가 명령하시자 그것들이 녹고 그가 바람을 불게 하시자 물이 흐르는구나.”He commanded, and they melted; and he caused the wind to blow, and the waters flowed
‭‭19 “그는 자기 백성에게 말씀을 선포하시고 이스라엘에게 법과 교훈을 주셨다.”He preached words to his people and gave laws and instructions to Israel
‭‭20 “그가 어느 나라에도 이렇게 하지 않으셨으니 그들은 이 법을 알지 못하였다. 여호와를 찬양하라!”He did not do this to any nation; they did not know this law. Praise Jehovah!
