1 ““사람의 아들아, 너는 곡을 책망하고 예언하라. 너는 나 주 여호와가 이렇게 말한다고 그에게 일러 주어라: 메섹과 두발의 왕 곡아, 내가 너를 대적한다.”Son of man, rebuke Gog and prophesy against him, and say to him, ‘Thus says the Lord God: Behold, I am against you, Gog, prince of Meshech and Tubal
2 “내가 너를 돌이켜 먼 북쪽에서 이끌어내어 이스라엘 산에 이르게 한 다음”I will turn you around and bring you from the far north to the mountains of Israel
‭‭3 “네 활을 쳐서 그것을 네 왼손에서 떨어뜨리고 네 화살을 네 오른손에서 떨어뜨리겠다.”I will strike your bow and make it fall from your left hand, and your arrows from your right hand
‭‭4 “너와 네 군대와 너의 동맹국들이 이스라엘 산에서 쓰러질 것이다. 내가 너를 육식하는 새와 들짐승의 밥이 되게 하겠다.”You and your army and your allies will fall on the mountains of Israel. I will give you as food to birds of prey and to the beasts of the field
‭‭5 “나 주 여호와가 이미 말하였으므로 너는 빈 들에 쓰러질 것이다.”For I, the Lord God, have spoken, and you shall fall in the wilderness
‭‭6 “내가 마곡과 그리고 연안 지역에서 편안하게 살고 있는 자들에게 불을 내리겠다. 그러면 그들이 나를 여호와인 줄 알 것이다.”I will bring fire upon Magog and upon those who live comfortably in the coastal regions, and they will know that I am the LORD
‭‭7 “내가 내 백성 이스라엘 가운데 나의 거룩한 이름을 알리고 다시는 나의 거룩한 이름이 더럽혀지지 않게 하겠다. 그러면 모든 나라가 나 여호와는 이스라엘의 거룩한 자임을 알게 될 것이다.”I will make my holy name known among my people Israel, and I will never again let my holy name be profaned. Then all the nations will know that I, the LORD, am the Holy One of Israel
‭‭8 “나 주 여호와가 말하지만 내가 말한 그 날이 분명히 오고야 말 것이다.”For I, the Lord God, have said: The day I spoke of will surely come
‭‭9 ““이스라엘의 여러 성에 사는 자들이 나가서 버려진 무기를 주워다가 땔감으로 쓸 것이며 그들은 크고 작은 방패와 활과 화살과 전투용 몽둥이와 창으로 7년 동안 불을 땔 것이다.”The inhabitants of the cities of Israel will go out and pick up the abandoned weapons and use them as fuel. They will use the shields and shields, bows and arrows, battle clubs and spears to kindle fires for seven years

There Gog and all his army will be buried, and the way will be blocked. Therefore the valley will be called the Valley of Gog's Army
‭‭12 ““이스라엘 백성들이 그 시체를 매장하고 그 땅을 깨끗이 정리하는 데 7개월이 걸릴 것이다.”It will take the Israelites seven months to bury the bodies and cleanse the land
‭‭13 “그 땅 모든 백성들이 그들을 매장할 것이며 내가 내 영광을 나타내는 그 날이 이스라엘에게 영광스러운 승리의 날이 될 것이다.”All the peoples of the land will bury them, and the day I reveal my glory will be a glorious day of victory for Israel
‭‭14 ““그들은 일정한 사람들을 고용하여 그 땅을 깨끗하게 하되 일부는 그 땅을 순회하게 하고 일부는 그 땅에 남아 있는 시체들을 매장하도록 할 것이다. 7개월이 끝날 무렵에 그들은 그 땅의 탐색을 시작할 것이다.”They will hire certain men to cleanse the land, some to walk through the land and some to bury the dead bodies that remain in the land. At the end of the seven months, they will begin to explore the land
‭‭15 “탐색하는 자가 사람의 뼈를 발견하면 그 곁에 표시물을 세워 매장하는 자들이 그것을 보고 곡의 군대 골짜기에 묻도록 할 것이다.”When the explorers find human bones, they will set up a marker beside them so that the burial men can see them and bury them in the Valley of the Army of Gog
‭‭16 “그리고 그 부근에 ‘하모나’ 라는 성이 생길 것이다. 이렇게 해서 그들은 그 땅을 깨끗하게 할 것이다.”And there will be a city called Hamona nearby. In this way they will cleanse the land
‭‭17 ““나 주 여호와가 말한다. 사람의 아들아, 너는 각종 새와 들짐승에게 이렇게 말하라. ‘너희는 사방에서 모여들어 내가 너희를 위해 이스라엘 산에 준비한 큰 잔치에 와서 고기를 먹고 피를 마셔라.”This is what the Sovereign LORD says: Son of man, say to every bird and every beast of the field: Come together from all sides and come to the great feast that I am preparing for you on the mountains of Israel, to eat flesh and drink blood
‭‭18 “너희가 바산의 살진 짐승, 곧 숫양이나 어린 양이나 염소나 수송아지를 먹는 것처럼 용사들의 살을 먹고 세상 왕들의 피를 마시게 될 것이다.”You will eat the flesh of the mighty and drink the blood of the princes of the earth, as you eat the fattened beasts of Bashan—rams, lambs, goats, and bulls
‭‭19 “내가 너희를 위해 마련한 잔치에서 너희는 배부를 때까지 기름을 먹고 취할 때까지 피를 마시며”At the feast I prepare for you, you will eat fat until you are full and drink blood until you are drunk
‭‭20 “내 상에서 말과 기병과 용사와 모든 병사들의 살을 배불리 먹을 것이다. 이것은 나 주 여호와의 말이다.’”I will feast on the flesh of horses and horsemen, warriors and all men of war, declares the Sovereign LORD
‭‭21 ““내가 온 세상에 내 영광을 나타낼 것이니 모든 나라가 내가 행한 심판과 나의 능력을 보게 될 것이다.”I will reveal my glory to all the earth, and all nations will see the judgment I have performed and the power I have given
‭‭22 “그때부터 이스라엘 백성은 내가 그들의 하나님 여호와임을 알 것이며”From that time on, the people of Israel will know that I am the Lord their God
‭‭23 “세상 나라들은 이스라엘 백성이 포로로 잡혀간 이유가 그들의 죄 때문이었음을 알게 될 것이다. 그들이 나에게 범죄하였으므로 나는 그들에게 내 얼굴을 가리고 그들을 그 원수들에게 넘겨 주어 칼날에 다 쓰러지게 하였다.”The nations of the world will know that the reason the people of Israel were taken captive was because of their sins. Because they sinned against me, I hid my face from them and handed them over to their enemies to fall by the sword
‭‭24 “나는 그들의 더러움과 죄에 따라 그들을 벌하고 외면하였다.”I punished them and turned away from them according to their filth and sins
‭‭25 ““그러므로 나 주 여호와가 말한다. 내가 이제 나의 거룩한 이름을 위해서 야곱의 후손인 이스라엘 백성을 불쌍히 여겨 그들을 포로 된 땅에서 돌아오게 하겠다.”Therefore thus says the Lord God: Now I will bring back the children of Israel, the descendants of Jacob, from the land where they were carried away captive, for the sake of my holy name
‭‭26 “그들이 자기들의 땅에서 아무 두려움 없이 편안하게 살게 될 때 그들은 나에게 범죄하여 수치당하던 일을 잊을 것이다.”When they live in their own land without fear, they will forget the shame they brought upon themselves by their sins against me
‭‭27 “내가 그들을 모든 나라에서 이끌어내고 적국으로부터 모아들일 때 내가 그들을 통해 많은 나라가 보는 데서 나의 거룩함을 나타낼 것이다.”When I bring them out from all the nations and gather them from their enemies, I will display my holiness through them in the sight of many nations
‭‭28 “내가 그들을 이방 나라에 사로잡혀가게 하였으나 한 사람도 남기지 않고 그들의 본토로 돌아오게 하겠다. 그들은 내가 자기들의 하나님 여호와임을 알게 될 것이다.”I have sent them into exile in foreign lands, but I will not leave any behind; I will bring them back to their own land. And they will know that I am the Lord their God
‭‭29 “내가 이스라엘 백성에게 나의 성령을 줄 것이며 다시는 그들을 외면하지 않을 것이다. 이것은 나 주 여호와의 말이다.””I will put my Spirit upon the people of Israel, and I will never again turn my back on them,” declares the Sovereign LORD
