1 “그 성명서에는 총독인 나 느헤미야가 먼저 서명을 했으며 그 다음으로 서명한 사람들은 이렇다:”The statement was signed first by me, Nehemiah, the governor, and the next signers were:
‭‭2 “제사장 중에서 시드기야, 스라야, 아사랴, 예레미야,”Of the priests, Zedekiah, Seraiah, Azariah, Jeremiah,
‭‭3 “바스훌, 아마랴, 말기야,”Pashur, Amariah, Malchija,
‭‭4 “핫두스, 스바냐, 말룩,”Hatdus, Zephaniah, Maluch,
‭‭5 “하림, 므레못, 오바댜,”Harim, Meremoth, Obadiah,
‭‭6 “다니엘, 긴느돈, 바룩,”Daniel, Ginnedon, Baruch,
‭‭7 “므술람, 아비야, 미야민,”Meshullam, Abijah, Miyamin,
‭‭8 “마아시야, 빌개, 스마야였다.”It was Masiya, Bilgae, and Semaiah
‭‭9 “레위 사람 중에서 서명한 사람들은 아사냐의 아들 예수아, 헤나닷의 자손인 빈누이, 그리고 갓미엘,”Among the Levites, those who signed were Jeshua son of Azaniah, Binnui, son of Henadad, and Kadmiel
‭‭10 “스바냐, 호디야, 그리다, 블라야, 하난,”Zephaniah, Hodiah, Kelita, Pelaiah, Hanan,
‭‭11 “미가, 르홉, 하사뱌,”Micah, Rehob, Hashabiah,
‭‭12 “삭굴, 세레뱌, 또 다른 스바냐,”Zaccur, Sherebiah, another Zephaniah,
‭‭13 “또 다른 호디야, 바니, 브니누였다.”There was another Hodiya, Bani, and Beninu
‭‭14 “백성의 지도자 중에서 서명한 사람들은 바로스, 바핫 – 모압, 엘람, 삿두, 바니,”Those who signed from among the leaders of the people were Parosh, Pahath – Moab, Elam, Saddu, Bani,
‭‭15 “분니, 아스갓, 베배,”Bunni, Azgad, Bebae,
‭‭16 “아도니야, 비그왜, 아딘,”Adonijah, Bigvai, Adin,
‭‭17 “아델, 히스기야, 앗술,”Ader, Hezekiah, Aszur,
‭‭18 “호디야, 하숨, 베새,”Hodiah, Hashum, Beshai,
‭‭19 “하립, 아나돗, 느배,”Harib, Anathoth, Nebae,
‭‭20 “막비아스, 므술람, 헤실,”Machbias, Meshullam, Hezir,
‭‭21 “므세사벨, 사독, 얏두아,”Meshesabel, Zadok, Jaddua,
‭‭22 “블라댜, 하난, 아나야,”Vladiah, Hanan, Anaya,
‭‭23 “호세아, 하나냐, 핫숩,”Hosea, Hananiah, Hashub,
‭‭24 “할로헤스, 빌하, 소벡,”Haloches, Bilhah, Sobek,
‭‭25 “르훔, 하삽나, 마아세야,”Rehum, Hashabnah, Maaseiah,
‭‭26 “아히야, 하난, 아난,”Ahijah, Hanan, Anan,
‭‭27 “말룩, 하림, 바아나였다.”They were Malluk, Harim, and Baanah
‭‭28 “그리고 그 나머지 백성들, 곧 제사장, 레위인, 성전 문지기, 성가대원, 성전 봉사자, 그리고 하나님의 법에 순종하기 위해서 그 땅에 사는 이방 사람들과의 관계를 끊은 모든 사람들이 자기들의 아내와 또 알아들을 만한 그들의 자녀들과 함께”And the rest of the people, the priests, the Levites, the gatekeepers of the temple, the choir members, the temple ministers, and all who had broken off their relations with the foreigners who lived in the land to obey the law of God, with their wives and those who could understand, with their children
‭‭29 “이 지도자들의 성명서에 따를 것을 결의하고 하나님께서 그의 종 모세를 통해 주신 율법에 순종하며 우리 하나님 여호와의 모든 명령과 규정을 철저하게 지키기로 맹세하고 만일 지키지 않는 자는 저주를 받을 것이라고 하였다.”We resolved to follow the statements of these leaders, to obey the law given by God through His servant Moses, and to strictly observe all the commands and regulations of the Lord our God, and that anyone who did not keep them would be cursed
‭‭30 “그리고 우리는 우리 딸을 이방 사람들에게 시집보내지 않고 또 우리 아들을 위해 그들의 딸을 데려오지 않기로 했으며”And we decided not to give our daughter in marriage to a foreigner, nor to take their daughter for our son
‭‭31 “만일 이방 사람들이 안식일에 곡식이나 상품을 팔려고 가져와도 우리는 안식일과 그 밖의 거룩한 날에는 그것을 사지 않기로 합의하였고 또 7년마다 땅을 쉬게 하고 일체의 빚을 받지 않기로 하였다.”If foreigners brought grain or goods to sell on the Sabbath, we agreed not to buy them on the Sabbath or any other holy day. We also agreed to let the land rest every seven years and not accept any debt
‭‭32 “그리고 우리는 우리 하나님의 성전을 위해 자진해서 해마다 은 약 4그램의 성전세를 내어”And we voluntarily pay a temple tax of about 4 grams of silver each year for the temple of our God
‭‭33 “항상 차림상에 거룩한 빵을 차려 놓고 매일 곡식으로 드리는 소제와 불로 태워 바치는 번제를 드리며 또 안식일과 초하루와 정기적인 명절에 쓸 거룩한 물건과 이스라엘 백성의 죄를 씻는 속죄제와 그 밖의 성전에 필요한 비용으로 쓰게 하였다.”Holy bread was always on the table, and daily grain offerings and burnt offerings were offered, as well as holy items for the Sabbath, the New Moon, and regular festivals, sin offerings to wash away the sins of the Israelites, and other temple expenses
‭‭34 “그런 다음 우리 백성들과 제사장들과 레위인들이 제비를 뽑아 집안별로 해마다 정한 때에 성전으로 나무를 가져와 율법에 기록된 대로 우리 하나님의 제단에 불을 피우게 하였고”Then our people, the priests, and the Levites cast lots to bring wood to the temple each year at appointed times for each family to make fire on the altar of our God, as it is written in the law
‭‭35 “또 해마다 우리가 수확한 첫 농작물과 모든 과일 나무에서 딴 첫열매를 성전에 바치기로 하였으며”Also, each year we decided to offer to the temple the first crops we harvested and the first fruits from all the fruit trees
‭‭36 “그리고 율법에 기록된 대로 우리 맏아들을 성전에서 섬기는 제사장들에게 데려다 주어 자신을 하나님께 바치게 하였고 우리 양과 소와 그 밖에 가축의 첫새끼도 제사장들에게 주기로 하였다.”And as it is written in the law, we brought our firstborn son to the priests serving in the temple to offer him up to God, and we also gave the firstborn of our sheep, cattle, and other livestock to the priests
‭‭37 “또 우리는 매년 처음 생산된 밀가루와 과일과 새 포도주와 감람기름과 그 밖의 예물을 제사장들에게 가져가 성전 창고에 넣어 두고 우리 농산물의 십일조를 레위인들에게 주기로 하였다. 이것은 그들이 모든 성에서 그것을 받을 권리가 있었기 때문이었다.”We also agreed to take the first crop of flour, fruit, new wine, olive oil, and other gifts produced each year to the priests and store them in the temple storehouse, and to give a tithe of our produce to the Levites. This was because they had the right to receive it in every province
‭‭38 “그리고 레위인들이 십일조를 거둘 때에는 아론 자손의 제사장 하나가 입회하도록 했으며 레위인들은 그 십일조의 10분의 1을 성전 창고에 두도록 하였다.”And when the Levites collected the tithe, a priest from the descendants of Aaron was required to attend, and the Levites were to place one-tenth of the tithe in the temple treasury
‭‭39 “또 레위 사람들을 포함한 이스라엘 백성들이 예물로 바친 곡식과 새 포도주와 감람기름을 성전 기구가 보관된 골방과 그리고 제사장과 문지기와 성가대원이 머물고 있는 골방에 갖다 두도록 하였다. 이렇게 해서 우리는 우리 하나님의 성전을 소홀히 하지 않을 것을 다짐하였다.”Also, the grain, new wine, and olive oil offered as gifts by the Israelites, including the Levites, were to be placed in the closet where the temple utensils were stored and the closet where the priests, gatekeepers, and choir members stayed. In this way, we pledged not to neglect the temple of our God
