1 “앗시리아의 사르곤황제가 자기 군대의 총사령관을 보내 아스돗을 공격하여 점령할 당시”When Emperor Sargon of Assyria sent the commander-in-chief of his army to attack and occupy Ashdod

‭‭3 “그러자 여호와께서 이렇게 말씀하셨다. “내 종 이사야는 지난 3년 동안 벌거벗고 맨발로 다녔는데 이것은 앞으로 이집트와 에티오피아가 당할 일의 상징이다.”Then the LORD said: “My servant Isaiah has been walking naked and barefoot for three years, a symbol of what will happen to Egypt and Ethiopia in the future
‭‭4 “이와 같이 이집트 사람들과 에티오피아 사람들이 앗시리아 황제에게 포로로 잡혀갈 때 젊은 사람, 늙은 사람 할 것 없이 다 옷을 벗은 채 엉덩이를 드러내 놓고 맨발로 끌려갈 것이며 이것이 이집트의 수치가 될 것이다.”In this way, when the Egyptians and Ethiopians are taken captive by the Assyrian emperor, both young and old will be dragged away barefoot with their buttocks exposed, and this will be a shame for Egypt
‭‭5 “에티오피아를 의지하고 이집트를 자랑하던 자들이 당황하고 부끄러워할 것이며”Those who relied on Ethiopia and boasted about Egypt will be embarrassed and ashamed
‭‭6 “그 날에 블레셋 해안 지역에 사는 자들이 이렇게 말할 것이다. ‘앗시리아 왕에게서 우리를 보호해 줄 것으로 믿었던 자들이 당한 일을 보아라. 이제 어떻게 하면 우리가 살아 남을 수 있단 말인가?’ ””On that day those who live along the coast of Philistia will say: ‘Look at what happened to those who we trusted to protect us from the king of Assyria. How can we survive now?
